The logo of Peace Evangelical Community Church, or PECC, features a dove, with wings that enable it to soar like an eagle. The dove flies from a distant star to be close to us today. The dove is a symbol of peace as well as of the Holy Spirit. The star, which is in the shape of a cross, also represents the Person of Christ Jesus who sent us the Holy Spirit. The trail made by the flight of the dove is in the shape of an "e" as in the second letter of our acronym, while it can also be read as two "c's" nested one inside the other. Thus the entire spirit and name of PECC is embodied in this beautiful logo, which was first designed (along with the exquisite Chinese calligraphy) originally by our founding pastor, Dr. Johnny Chan, who is now serving his Lord in Hong Kong.
